  • Arrival in Lucknow

    Welcome to the capital of Awadh-Lucknow*. The city is a blend of Heritage and Modernisation and in our two nights here we will experience Lucknow through its culture. On arrival, we proceed to our hotel which is situated in the city centre and check in. In the evening we take a walk through Hazratganj where the buzz of the city exists. We return to the Hotel after enjoying the famous Chanakya Kulfi. Dinner & overnight stay at Lucknow.

  • Lucknow-Experiences

    After breakfast, visit the Bada Imaambara, which is one of the largest mosque complexes in India. We then enjoy a local Nawabi lunch which includes delicacies like the Galouti kebab (good vegetarian options also available). Later on, we visit the Residency which was the seat of the British Resident General in the court of Awadh and it is also here that one of the first mutinies of the 1857 uprising took place. Dinner & overnight in Lucknow.

  • Lucknow-Chambal

    After breakfast, we get onto the Yamuna Expressway and drive towards Chambal. Upon arrival, we check in to Mela Kothi which belongs to the erstwhile family of the Pratap Singh’s of this region. The property is spread over 65 Acres and the meals enjoyed on the property are home-cooked, using the produce from the farm. Later on we explore the Chambal region which includes a boat ride on River Chambal where we would sight the Chambal Alligator and the birds of this region, both endemic and migratory. The Chambal is also one of the cleanest rivers in North India.

  • Chambal-Gwalior-Orchha

    After Breakfast, we leave for Gwalior and visit the Tomb of Tansen who was one of the Navratnas of Emperor Akbar’s court. Post lunch we proceed for a guided tour of the Scindia palace – A majestic nineteenth Century residence of the Maharajas of Gwalior. In the evening we will head to Orchha and officially enter the Bundelkhand region. Dinner and overnight in Orchha.

  • Orchha

    After a leisurely breakfast, we will visit the Jehangir Mahal and Raja Mahal which are known for their unique architecture. We also stop by the Raja Ram Mandir, the only place in India where Lord Ram is worshipped for being a King. After a typical bundeli lunch we visit the Laxminarayan temple and then proceed to see the famous Chhatris of Orchha. This will be followed by sunset boating on the Betwa River. Dinner and Overnight in Orchha.

  • Orchha – Khajuraho – Panna

    After breakfast, we proceed to Khajuraho and reach in time for lunch. Post lunch we visit Khajuraho temple – A UNESCO World heritage site. Our experienced and expert guide describes the Temple complex in such a way that it takes us back in time. In the evening we check-in to our Resort on the banks of River Ken. Dinner and overnight stay in Panna.

  • Panna – Tiger Safari – Raneh Canyon

    We begin the day with a jeep safari at Panna Tiger Reserve. After lunch at the Resort, we drive to witness the breathtaking views of the Raneh Canyon, with its colourful rocky landscape. We then head to the Ken River Forestto visit the Ghadiyal Sanctuary, where we can spot some of the largest Crocodiles in India. Dinner and overnight in Panna.

  • Panna – Gwalior

    After breakfast we leave for Gwalior and have lunch on the way. Post lunch we visit the famous Gwalior fort where we will enjoy the sun setting over the town of Gwalior in the distance. The fort itself is a poster image of Incredible India along with the Taj mahal. In the night, board the train back to Mumbai. Those who choose to fly back to Mumba would have to stay an extra night to board the flight the next morning
